This year once again, Latteria di Chiuro renews its commitment to promoting the culture of giving with an initiative launched in 2021 that has now become a tradition: “Latte del Dono”, created in collaboration with AIDO (Associazione Italiana per la Donazione di Organi, Tessuti e Cellule) and ADMO (Associazione Donatori Midollo Osseo).
Now in its sixth year, the project aims to use an everyday product found on many family tables, such as fresh whole milk, as a way to spread an important message: the value of donation and solidarity.
A simple gesture that can make a difference
Through this initiative, a milk carton becomes a tool for raising awareness, capable of reaching thousands of people and helping to inform and encourage greater understanding of issues that are often accompanied by doubts or concerns.
For many years, AIDO and ADMO have been working to promote accurate information about the donation of organs, tissues and cells, as well as the importance of joining the registry of potential bone marrow donors. In Italy, many people are still waiting for a transplant or for a compatible donor.
For this reason, communication and awareness initiatives across the territory can play an important role in fostering an increasingly informed culture of donation.
Milk that does good, in every sense
With the “Latte del Dono” initiative, our dairy once again confirms its commitment to supporting projects that promote values that are important for both the local community and for people, combining the quality of its products with concrete attention to social issues.
A small everyday gesture, such as buying a carton of milk, can help spread a message of great value: the culture of giving.
Look for the 1-litre carton of fresh whole milk from Latteria di Chiuro on the shelves of selected stores throughout the Province of Sondrio and support the initiative.
