We have held organic certification since 2010.
For our farms, organic means: raising native breeds that are well adapted to local conditions; providing organic feed tailored to the nutritional needs of animals at different stages of development, with a preference for mother’s milk for young calves; allowing access to pasture as soon as conditions permit; managing herd health by focusing on disease prevention and strengthening animals’ natural immune defences.
For our dairy, organic means: collecting and transporting organic milk using a dedicated tanker; storing, processing and cooling the milk in facilities designed to prevent any risk of contamination; thoroughly cleaning production lines and equipment between the processing of conventional and organic products; and keeping organic products separate during packaging, storage and ageing.
