In Chiuro, our Retail Store and Stuzzicheria are the ideal places to discover and taste the products of our land, fully appreciating the true spirit of our mountains. Alongside our own branded products, you will find, for example, the no-added-sugar fruit compotes produced by the social cooperative Il Sentiero, as well as eggs from the social cooperative La Quercia, both actively engaged in the integration of disadvantaged people into the workforce. A clear example of our commitment to promoting a virtuous economy.
Take your time and enjoy a tasty break at the Stuzzicheria, where you can savour gourmet sandwiches, fresh seasonal salads, as well as tasting selections of our cheeses and local cured meats. The menu also includes hot and cold dishes that follow the rhythm of the seasons. And for those with a sweet tooth, our desserts are not to be missed.
Each farm is certified for animal welfare and is part of a short, transparent and controlled supply chain. We also support the development of our agricultural businesses and the territory in ways that respect the environment and promote ever greater well-being, both individual and collective.

La Latteria di Chiuro produces and matures them with passion and respect, following the specifications of the Protected Designation of Origin, guaranteeing their uniqueness.
Valtellina Casera PDO boasts a centuries-old tradition: it was produced during the winter months, when herds rested in the stables after spending the summer on alpine pastures. Its name comes from the casera, the cellar where cheeses are stored for maturation. Aged Valtellina Casera PDO (over 300 days in the cellar) offers unforgettable aromas and flavours.
Bitto PDO is produced exclusively in summer on alpine pastures, where herds feed on fresh grass. According to the production rules, up to 10% goat’s milk may be added to whole cow’s milk. Processing begins immediately after milking, with dry salting to ensure optimal maturation; at the end of summer, ageing continues in the cellar and can last for years.
